To coincide with the opening of the new Learning Centre in the Oberschule Ms Maguire has been running a competition.

The competition was titled ‘Shelvies and Selfies’ and involved students matching teachers to their bookshelves by looking for clues among the shelves.

It was a fun activity for the students which simultaneously presented teachers as role models for demonstrating good reading practices and promoting and inspiring reading as an informative and pleasurable activity.

Many of the students took part in the competition. The prize was a book voucher and the four winners were: Sophia Stoney 6E,  Louis Kellerbauer 6DE, Nina Berkmann 2DEB and Guilia Ihly 2DEB.

Frau Santos presented the students with their prizes and then Fr. Santos and Ms. Maguire chatted with the students about their reading habits and which books they would like to purchase with the voucher.
