A teacher for Primary School to teach: Portuguese language as mother tongue to start on the 1st of September 2024 / 6,25 hours per week

The European School of Karlsruhe offers education to approx. 1000 pupils, in three linguistic sections (DE, EN, FR), from 3-18 years. We require a teacher of Portuguese language as mother tongue in the primary cycle (pupils age: 6-11). Here is the link to the syllabus. Applicants must have a teaching qualification and be Portuguese mother tongue. Experience in international or European schools would be an asset. The position involves 6,25 teaching hours per week (375 min/week).

The successful candidate will be working under the authority of the Director of the European School, in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment, in a school with an outstanding academic record. The European Schools are official educational establishments controlled jointly by the governments of the Member States of the European Union. In all these countries they are legally regarded as public institutions. There are currently 13 European Schools in 6 countries.
