To celebrate the European Day of Languages, Mrs. Hornar’s S3 Ethics class teamed up with Intern Anouska Doms to host a Lingo-lovely Language Quiz. They designed eye-conic posters to spread the word.
During Thursday’s short break, several students set up in the foyer, eagerly interacting with fellow students and teachers alike, quizzing them with linguistically-challenging questions and handing out special language-themed prizes.
It was a fun opportunity to brush up on the history and grammar of various languages, and even try our hand at some quick translations. All in all, it was a spellbinding success—everyone left with some new vocabulary under their belt!
