In Kindergarten we follow the European Schools’ Early Education Curriculum

• Me As A Person Curriculum which focuses on the personal and emotional development of the child;
• Me And My Body Curriculum which focuses on the child’s physical development in terms of both fine and gross motor skills;
• Me And The Others Curriculum which promotes the child’s social development;
• Me And The World Curriculum which is concerned with Language development, mathematical and problem solving skills and developing the child’s understanding of the world around him/her.

Teachers use the curriculum as a basis for planning all of the children’s learning experiences. A mix of activities is provided including teacher directed activities and opportunities for child initiated learning.

We aim to provide a stimulating environment, both indoor and outdoor, which encourages exploration, investigation and creativity.  Play is an important part of a child’s development and as such opportunities are given for both independent and cooperative daily play.
