Students develop spatial, fine motor and basic programming skills through building robots using Lego and programming with a block based programming software. The building time is often more challenging than the children expect as they must follow the instructions closely in order to have a functioning robot.  

In the programming stage, students first learn how to move the robot and then move into using sensors.
