In the subject Discovery of the World the pupils of class 5. (German, English and French sections) visited the Technical Museum in Speyer (Rheinland Pfalz) on Tuesday, 12 November.

The children were divided into groups and took part in a quiz. They had the opportunity to get to know different car makes, trains, airplanes, motorcycles, etc….

Numerous technical inventions are kept in this exciting museum.

During that day the pupils watched the movie Apollo XI about the landing on the moon by the United States. Watching this fileXm on a huge Imax screen was an unforgettable experience for everyone.

The teachers, Mrs. Braun, Mrs. Weller, Mr. Mügendt and Mr. Beaupoil, will arouse the pupils´ curiosity in class. A joint project is already planned: the three language sections will build a sand yachts.
